New York, NY – Carl Fischer Music releases Transcending for full orchestra (CCO6 – Complete Set – $120.00) by Larry Clark.
Winner of the 2016 Texas Orchestra Directors Association Full Orchestra Composition Competition, Transcending is built on a four note motif first heard in the trumpets. These four notes are explored throughout the piece with fanfares, relative minor keys, Celtic grooves, the Dorian Mode, counterpoint, and much more. The conclusion will excite students and audiences alike with a triumphant fanfare leading to a majestic return of the main theme. This award winning work is an attention grabber and an interesting choice for any full orchestra.
Transcending is available now through Carl Fischer Music or your favorite music retailer.
