Columbia Music Company, Inc. was founded in Washington, DC in the 1920s by guitarist and arranger Sophocles Papas. Publishing editions by Andrés Segovia, as well as works by Charlie Byrd, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Carlos Barbosa-Lima, and a range of other musicians, the Columbia Music Company has been committed to supplying fine sheet music for the classical guitarist.
Theodore Presser Company has been the sole distributor for Columbia Music Company, Inc. for more than 50 years and is honored to take up the mantle of this fine catalog for the classical guitarist.
