Power Warm-Up for the Double Bassist is designed for the serious Double Bass student. It is a comprehensive warm-up routine that allows musicians to slowly stretch their muscles to avoid injuries while at the same time honing fine skills on a daily basis that will reap rewards down the road with an uptick in performance ability. This system focuses on seven fundamental areas of technique with illustrations, flow charts, and shifting block patterns designed to expedite mastery and memorization of essential scales and arpeggios for the developing bassist.

The exercises contained in this collection have been divided into seven sections of technique, are easily memorized and can be completed in only 15 minutes, offering variety on a daily basis. This book also contains sample practice time frames and a sample calendar with a suggested 3-day rotation cycle, along with a Practice Assignment.
